Among the Trees | Laki Senanayake 
At this workshop, children will learn about artist Laki Senanayake, alongside his paintings & drawings, afterwhich the participants will paint their very own bird on wood, which they will be allowed to take home

Bawa in the Garden
This workshop will explore the gardens of Bevis Bawa and his love for nature. Participants will then paint their own garden on canvas, which they will be allowed to take home.

1.30pm – 2.45pm
Gihan de Chickera | Cross the Line
Children will learn about cartoon drawings and will be guided to create their own narrative in a cartoon strip, which they will be allowed to take home.

3pm – 4.15pm
Barbara Sansoni | Colour Loom
We explore the vibrant life of Barbara Sansoni and will be creating collages with handloom fabric. Children will learn colour theory and create their own compositions. The artwork they create can be taken home.

4.30pm – 5.45pm
Aubrey Collette | ‘Face it’.
Participants will learn the characteristics of caricatures and why they are an important artform. Thereafter, they will be guided to create their own caricatures which they will be allowed to take home.

AEF Ticket Holders, October 14, Brief & Two + Three Day Pass Holders

Ticket holders, be it for a single talk/tour or day pass or festival pass, have the opportunity to explore the gardens before or after the respective talk/tour in designated areas at Brief Gardens from 8am to 4pm on the 14th of October.

Ticket holders may chose to bring their own snacks and have a picnic in designated areas in the garden.

Ticket holders are entitled to order their lunch from Brief's Lunch & Tea Menus, and place their orders through ARTRA.
